I was fascinated by the waves’ fury, energy and magic. They were 16 feet, but I was told they get much higher. I photographed them for hours, primarily in the early morning and late afternoon when the light was best. My lens was a 500mm Canon with a 1.4 extender on a monopod with Fuji 100ASA film.
