About Marc C Abrahms
Leopard #2, Botswana, Africa
Like most photographers, I wish I could control light outdoors. I cannot. This photograph was taken in the middle of the day with very harsh light. But I was very excited to see the leopard that appeared to be hiding from a pack of baboons. I used a 70-200mm with a 1.4 extender on a Canon EOS IV body with Velvia 100ASA film. Later, in the middle of the night, either this leopard or his cousins attacked and ate two baboons. The screams were unforgettable. Apparently, the baboons hunt the leopards during the day and the leopards hunt the baboons at night.
