It was nighttime and I was on my way home. When I saw the fire I panicked, but I did grab my camera, jumped on the fire truck and took this image. I exposed for the fire using a spot meter, and silhouetted the fireman. I used a Leica M3 with a 135mm lens. Exposure unrecorded. This image has been used on the covers of insurance company magazines.
